Honey (‘Bonnie’) has made it to her new home!

Bonnie, renamed ‘Honey’, was rescued from an underground breeder in Mexico. Her rescuer found her and multiple other dogs (including her own puppies) living in terrible conditions. They were never walked or allowed outside. After such a traumatic start to life, she was SO ready to find a forever home to be loved unconditionally.

Despite the neglect Honey experienced, she was always very sweet and loving with humans. We found what we believe to be the perfect match for her here in Canada. She’s now living in a quiet home where she can get her mom (and her new siblings) affection at all times of day!

The incredible part of bringing dogs here is that, as we’re 100% volunteer run, we rely heavily on flight companions to volunteer to bring dogs with them who are already flying that flight path. Here are some cute photos of Bonnie’s adventure with her lovely companion!

If you’re ever flying the path from Mexico City to YVR, please contact us! We are always looking for people to help bring our dogs to their new homes.
