Senior gal Ginny is loving her second change at life!
Ginny (formerly ‘Blondie’) was found on an abandoned road in Mexico. This poor gal was covered in scabies and had clearly been neglected. After seeing a vet, they said she was at least 7!
Senior dogs are so much more difficult to adopt than young dogs. We were SO grateful when Ginny received an application pretty much immediately!
She now lives with her family on a quiet part of Vancouver Island. She has two siblings, Tim and Mac, that she’s slowly getting used to.
Here is what her adopters had to say when we checked in about a month into Ginny being there!
“Ginny (formally Blondie) is the sweetest girl that we didn’t know that we needed in our lives and has quickly bonded to her 2 smaller, but older, dog brothers. Even though she is estimated to be between 7-8 years old, she is starting to show her inner puppy and is a complete goofball after meals. She also loves window watching during the day from the comfort of her nice warm home. Ginny is starting to master the art of laying on furniture and learning that the cars outside are no longer harmful around the protection of her humans and dog pack. We are incredibly happy with our decision to adopt this fluffy, lovable, senior girl and give her the home she deserves.”
