Rex (‘Draco’) is settling in with his new sister!

Draco, now Rex, was rescued from an illegal breeder in Mexico, where he was found along with multiple other dogs. Police had to intervene and rescue them all. Sadly, as with most underground breeding situations, they were living in terrible conditions. They were never walked or allowed outside.

As you can imagine, he is SOOO glad to have been rescued! Here is an updated after about a week together with his adopter:

“He's doing great, very sweet and gentle with people, learning to go outside for potty. It looks like he is getting more and more confident that he is part of the family, and is trying to get Evey (his sister) to play chasing, which she is slowly starting to do. All in all he's great: chases the ball, goes on runs with me and Malcolm, is really trying to learn how things work and is so gentle with kids and older people.”
