Trixie loves her new playmates!

Trixie (formerly named ‘Lucy’) was sadly found tied to a lamppost in Mexico. That is no way for a pup like her to live!

She was one of the most energetic dogs we have ever seen for her size, PLAY ALL DAY is her motto!

Luckily, she has an amazing family in Washington state that can make those dreams come true! Read on to find out what they had to say about little miss Trixie.

“Lucy, now known as Trixie, has joined our pack with great enthusiasm! I never knew my corgi or Pekingese liked to play (they are more in to me) but now it’s a 24 hour (practically!) play fest around here! She is so joyful and playful. She loves treats and she loves to cuddle me at night. She’s very enthusiastic about meals.. she demands to be fed first. As the smallest dog and only female I think she’s trying to work her way up to the leader of the pack! She’s made great strides in potty training and has experienced snow, rain and an ice storm up here like a pro. Her only bad habit is chasing the kitties! She can run like the wind outside and gets the zoomies every day. We just adore this sweet girl. Thank you so much for saving her!”
