Geo is getting a second chance!
Geo (formerly named ‘Gandalf’) was rescued from an underground/illegal breeder in Mexico. His rescuer found him along with multiple other dogs living in horrible conditions. They were kept in cages almost 24/7 and never walked or allowed outside.
Luckily, Geo has found a loving and patient adopter to help him start this next chapter in his life! Here is what his adopter had to say:
“Geo has gone from running away and hiding when we were going outside, to it being his favourite thing in the world. When he realizes we are going for a walk, he jumps around excitedly and loves to sniff everything and meet new friends out in the neighbourhood. He also visited a farm where he enjoyed sniffing for voles in the snow. He is the biggest lovebug and never says no to pets and snuggles, and even paws you when he is not ready to be done with petting. He is learning new things every day: "sit", "stay", when I leave I am coming back, and how to trust people. Given his 'ruff' start, he is making incredible improvements and I am sure within a few months he will be settled into his new life in Canada. He also has two best friends, Bear and Bella, who are also rescues and his size. He loves to snuggle them and run around with them when I am not home. He is full of personality and love, and enjoys putting his paws on your knees so you can dance with him.”
