Foster fail for Mila!
Mila was found wandering by a very busy road where she had a high chance of getting run over. They brought her to a shelter and she was so loving, right from the get-go! It seemed crazy that she spent the first part of her life living on the streets.
Mila was overlooked for adoption for almost a full year - sadly her size and breed made her less desirable. Thankfully, a kind family here wanted to foster her to help her have a better chance at finding a new family! In just three days, it was a foster fail. They love here!
Here is what her fosters turned adopters had to say:
Mila was the missing puzzle piece to our family we didn’t know we were missing! I think we failed at being fosters for her within half an hour of knowing her- we fell in love with her at the airport but how could you not! She is the sweetest dog. She lives for snuggles and attention from her humans and greets us at the door with the wiggliest little bum. Mila is a hybrid couch potato: she sleeps all day and is the laziest most stubborn girl but also has endless amounts of energy. Her random zoomies are the funniest thing ever. She really is a PERFECT fit for our lifestyle and our other dog. She is the weirdest little dog with the most hilarious personality- she’s made it her job to make us smile and laugh every day, and brings an energy our home needed. She has a doggy brother-Oshie (a Thai rescue)- and they exist very peacefully together. They have a good system going- they go on walks and play well but are also perfectly happy sleeping on opposite sides of the house, and set boundaries with each other. We are so excited to take her paddle boarding, go on road trips, and keep giving her the life she deserves. We love our little potato dog very much and we are so grateful to have her in our life!!!
